NCT expiry date & new owner.

I recently purchased a car privately. Car nct expired in December 2022 & says on NCT site new nct required Dec 2024. So if I NCT the car now will it be from December 2024 for full two years as car is over 30 years ?

Once over 30 years old they revert to testing every two years. Bit late now but you should have insisted on the vendor sorting NCT, you are normally required to also pay for the missed test dates since the last one.
