NCT and vehicle registration cert

NCT coming up, and cannot find the vehicle reg cert

Anyone know if
a) this will fail me (or if they won't take me) and

b) can a new one be got in a hurry
 
It is listed as a requirement on the letter confirming the appointment.

Good to hear that I might get away without it.
 
I had mine recently & it does say on the letter that you must have it.........but I brought it along & no-one asked to see it at all.
 
I aqpplied for my NCT on line and got a text confirming the date of the NCT, I did not receive any correspondance stating Veh reg cert required nor was I asked for it at the test centre.
 
Have my nct tomorrow and cannot find my registration certificate...
Hubbie on his way to garda station and motor tax office to get replacement one. I wont be telling him if they dont ask for it tomorrow, not after running around town for me today!

But to replace it you need to complete the following form, have it signed at your local garda station and then bring it to Motor Tax office and they will issue replacement for €12.

I assume you mean the vehicle licensing certificate which has your name and address on it. This is what the NCT say you need to bring.

I forgot it for my last NCT and they said it didn't matter as long as the registration number and chasiss number matched; they have this information on their computer anyway.
