had a look earlier at nationwide uk (ireland) deposit rates.
3.15% easy access - 6 withdrawals per year.
3.50% fixed 12 month term deposit - no access.
thinking that the easy access is the way to go - can't really see the attraction in the 12 month fixed rate with no access. i am weary of the irish institutions, although ulster bank has a competitive rate also but are they a safe bank considering today's story?
