Nantes airport car hire

Hi All,

Going into Nantes airport (NTE) in a few weeks (2 adults 2 kids)and will be renting a car for a week. Having read other posts here, is there a car hire I should avoid there(length of time to get your car) or firms I should go with. Any experiences to relate. Have not booked the car yet. First time renting in France. Thanks

I hired a car in Nantes for the last three years - the first 2 years I used the 'National' desk and had no problems, this year I used the 'Hertz' desk' and had about a 30 minute wait to get the car - the desk was just busy. But no problems with any cars. I used www.argusrentals.ie the first year, www.holidayautos.co.uk the second year and www.autoeurope.ie this year. Bon voyage
