I have booked my mother in law a Ryanair flight from Dub to Ldn for a weekend. Only problem is her surname on her passport is in Irish and i didnt realise and put the english version.
Will i have to change it?? no doubt they will charge?
You will need to callRyanair and get the name changed on the booking. They MAY do it for nothing if they accept that it was a genuine mistake.If they dont then do the maths and see if it would work out cheaper to do a new booking.

I had to do this recently and Ryanair charged €10 to change the name from English on the ticket to match the Irish version on my passport. I think it cost almost another €10 on Ryanair's premium phone-line to arrange it. It could have been worse, if I had to book another flight it would have cost close to €100.
