Naas to Carlow commute times

Anybody have any experience of the above - to be in carlow for 9:00 in the morning and leaving again at 5:00 - -thanks
 
According to AA Roadwatch it is 56.49km's between Naas and Carlow and should take 49 minutes... In reality I would budget an hour...
 
You will be mainly going against the traffic as most folks are heading the other way.

Budget for an hour but you could make it in 45 mins. It really depends on where you start and what side of Carlow you are going to.
 
Bear in mind the Carlow bypass opens in May which should take a lot of the traffic off the road into the town, Casteldermott bypass has begun as well

I go in the other direction, if I leave Carlow at 6.40am, I am at the round ball somewhere around 7.20 most mornings, and that is within the speed limit
