N73- flashing light!

Can anyone tell what is the little light on the N73, just right of the top middle that keeps flashing and how do you turn it off??

Wouldn't have thought that, as this is flashing all the time (when camera not in use) Will look at camera setting though. Thanks

It's really bright and would scare the living day lights out of you when you wake to a blue flashing light in the bedroom!!
