[broken link removed] is an excellent resource (and not just for planning). its mapping is more comprehensive than osi.ie and it contains some excellent census information and opw flood plain information. You can also check every rural townland in the country! You can draw lines, calculate areas, save views, view google streetview and print.

Its a marvellous resource and the people involved in its development should be commended.

Myplan incorporates many different sets of spatial information and is innovative in its ability to overlay and analyse the data in a web browser environment.

The aim of Myplan.ie is to create a one stop shop for information about plans and also to provide other information which is relevant to planning decision-making (census, heritage sites, patterns of housing development etc).

www.myplan.ie is the first Irish free public web browser service that draws together around 1000 zoning maps in the 400 or so local authority development plans and local area plans across the country enabling seamless and easy access to information about the local planning requirements of the local authorities across the country.
