The problem is both my parents have done a will which stipulates me the brother and my younger sister get 50 per cent of the sale of the property one stipulation which I agreed was to give my sister 12 months to move out so I did, well it now seven years and she's still in there doing nothing to move out and not maintaining the property or gardens so it is depreciating we keep asking her to start moving she lies to us saying she is but nothing happens shes also took everything of value and left me we nothing what can I do as I am disabled and in ill health awaiting an operation we don't have any spare money and the mortgage is due to be paid in full in 18 months so we are in a dilemma I have asked nicely and got nowhere and we are desperate.

Have you spoken to a solicitor? If not that is what you need to do. No point speaking to your sister.

Just get a solicitor to write to her and go to court. But 7 years? Why waste that much time?

Are both your parents deceased? Who is the executor? It's the executor's responsibility to take whatever steps are necessary to execute the wishes expressed in the will.

Why don't you use your half of the house, offer struggling students free accommodation for the academic year, the more you can help the merrier.
