I worked during this summer and earned wages for my work. I am not returning
to school until spring, so my employer wants me to return all
of the wages I've earned because they claim the job is only for current, enrolled
students, and did not tell me until after I accepted the job and turned down
other offers that if I didn't return this fall I would have to pay them back 100%.
I did all of the work and got paid an hourly wage (I actually worked more hours
than I was paid for but that's a different story). Can they legally request me to pay back all of my wages, that I've worked for and rightly earned, because I'm returning to school a semester later than they wish? Is this real?
