Must testator/testatrix physcially write the will?

Hi,

I know that a will has to be in writing but does it have to be written by the testator/testatrix? Would the will be invalid if written by another family member but signed by the testator/testatrix?

No e.g. in many instances a solicitor will draft the document based on the clients expressed wishes and the client will simply sign it.

Might not be invalid if written out by a family member but could go towards duress.
