Guys..wonder if anyone can help me. bought below drive but it can seem to play MP4 video files..? any ideas if fix available.?

Iomega ScreenPlay Plus USB 2.0/AV/HDMI, 1TB Multimedia Drive
 
sometimes when I stream to my Xbox from my PC, I have problems with MP4, I just rename the extension from whatever.mp4 to whatever.avi it works for me, give it a shot...

I have this screenplayer too and have the same issue. Also I have noticed that the sound is sometimes delayed on it when playing a movie.
It seems to be worse when there is more data on it.
 
I have the screen play too, won't play mp4 or mkv files ....however since I got a new tv which takes USB and plays .mkv (blue ray rips) from there
