Mulranny - anyone been

Hi

I'm looking at self catering Mulranny in Co. Mayo for a week in May with our toddler, we will probably have our bikes with us as well.

Has anyone stayed in the Mulranny Holiday Village? The Hotel looks lovely but the self catering apartments would be expensive.

we stayed there for a weekend about 2 years ago. had a great time.

friends stayed in hotel...but hotel was booked out so we were in the 2 bed apartments which were a decent enough size. didnt really use to cook as we were only there for a weekend and ate in restaurant. think they have built new houses since.

pool is lovely. food in restaurant was just fab. not so keen on the pub...nothing particularly wrong with it but it just wasnt us..also got a bit crowded at meal times. we sat in the foyer for a drink each night.

they had a great kids club...not sure what age they accept but our DD and other couples child had a ball.

location is lovely....loads of great drives and of course westport is close too.

would definitely go back.
 
Beautiful part of the world with a fantastic blue flag beach. The hotel has an excellent restaurant. Not too far for trips to Achill or Westport.
