I am trying to create a drop-down menu that is linked to another cell in the work sheet. I know how to create the drop-down menu, but do not know how to link it to another cell.

The drop down menu contains two currencies. When the user selects a currency, i want an exchange rate to be applied in another cell. How do you do that?

An IF formula using the cell with the drop down menu for the logical test value? (Should work OK for just 2 currencies any more and you start needing nested IF formulas) You could also maybe use one of the LOOKUP formulas (works better for many currencies)
