I made a booking for somebody on Ryan Air and put Mr instead of Miss on the ticket.

I have sent them off with the print out (they are travelling on from me and wont be back for the rest of the trip and I may not hear back until the final day) but have just noticed the mistake.

Their first name is a girls name and the passport will back this up, but will they be so picky at checkin, as it is obviously a mistake.

Surely (eg) a "Mr Sally Smith" is a minor error to let go, where the passport says "Miss Sally Smith"?

Dont think it will matter - when you print your boarding passes they wont have a suffix (Mr , Mrs , Dr etc ....) on them , just first name and surname.

You should be fine. I checked some Ryanair boarding passes I had previously printed out and they only give first name and surname, so you will be ok.
