MP3 Player Recommendations Please

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a cheap and cheerful MP3 player, my immediate use would be to listen to CD Rom which has come with a text book, after that the kids will use it. So my requirements are ease of use, good price, and an anequate but not massive memory.

sansa clip

I got a sansa clip 8gb in xtravision for 25 euro in their sale around xmas. Its very simple and stores 2000 songs - maybe a lot more if you compress the files. It has a voice recorder, radio as well. I didn't want to go the i-pod/i tunes route so again it suits me fine.

Would agree that the Sansa's are very good sound quality and very compact - and great value for money.

Forget about iPods for your needs.

lidl or aldi get them in every so often.
