moving up to management

Hi

I will be moving from a supervisor position up to Management. I was wondering if someone has advice on how to create a handover list and if you have suggested reading. Its been made clear at the start 6 months probaation will be in place.

Im reading a book called "Motivation to Win" by Richard Denny at present. I bought it out of curiosity and I think all managers should be made read it.
