As above, requested PPR deeds from lender a few months back in advance of selling my house, but for the purchase of the next property, have since decided to use a different solicitor than the one who's currently holding my deeds on accountable receipt from mortgage lender.
Figured it makes sense to use the same firm for the sale of my own now too, but will the old solicitor be able to pass the deeds on?
Took months to get them back from the lender in the first place, so was hoping the solicitor currently holding them on accountable receipt can transfer them to my new solicitor without having to send them back and go through the process all over again, but not sure if that's standard enough or perhaps even legally possible.
