Moving money to the north, Stupid idea..

Im hearing of a lot of people moving money to Sterling accounts up north.

Why are they doing this, arent the UK in as bad a state as us and linked with the Euro.

Is this just a silly auto reaction with no real thought.

It would seem to me that places like Australia or Asia would be the only place worth bothering moving money to.
 
ireland is very sensitive to sterling due to how much we trade with them, obviously a euro break up would also have a big affect on sterling, if the euro goes down and also sterling you dont really lose, as for australia dollar it is a very volatile currency and especially sensitive to an asian recession or fall in commodity prices,
