moving money from spanish account to irish account

My FIL has ~25K sitting in a spanish current account, he has paid all the relevant taxes on it here in ireland, how can he transfer it to his irish account to free up the money?? I'm sure this is simple but none of us are sure, so any advice would be appreciated.

Usually very simple and cheap.

Ask the spanish bank for the definitive answer - they will be doing the task for you and will know what is involved and how much they will charge.

The rest of us would only be guessing.
