Moving into a second hand home

Hi all,

I eventually got the house i've beed bidding on.

just another question we are due to get the keys this Friday and am wondering do i need to check the house and garage for goods left behind as i asked for nothing to be left. What if i find the Garage or the attic full of their belongings or rubbish what is the procedure in passing the keys over.

Ask to do a pre-closing inspection. If closing is due to be at 12.30 make sure to see the house the previous day. If there is stuff left behind, its almost impossible to get it sorted after the event. It is amazing how many people leave crap behind them but I assume its because of the cost of getting a skip- passing the problem on I suppose.
