Hi,

I'm new to this site and would love some info.. I have been receiving one parent family payment for the last 2 years. I have been considering moving in with new partner. I will give up my OPF if and when I do so. My partner works full time for a little over minimal wage. Would I be able to do a CE scheme, FAS course or just receive any jobseekers allowance? I was working myself up till last summer and have got some interviews for CE scheme and I am really hoping that I will get one as it would be a great stepping stone to get back to employment for myself, I would hate to have to give up the CE scheme (if I get it of course) just because I moved in with my partner who works? If anyone has any info to share please do. Thanks.

That would be great. I would really love to do the CE scheme and I really hope I get one. I have applied for several and have a few interviews so fingers crossed. A big relief to know that I would not be asked to stop the CE scheme if I do move in with partner. Thanks for the info blacksheep.

Just an update.. I got offered a CE scheme.. which I excepted.. Thanks for info.. much appreciated
