Moving boxes and house movers - Dublin

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a moving company for a house move, there are so many out there and don't know anyone who has moved in a while to get a recommendation.

Also looking for boxes, any suggestions welcome, I know some moving companies supply them.

This key post is very dated but may give some general advice or even a recommendation.

You could put the job up on http://www.anyvan.ie. You give details of the from and to (approximate of course!) and roughly what it is you want to move and when it is you want to do it. Different companies bid on the job and you choose who you want.

I have used Anyvan and it was a good experience.

I got loads of boxes from a supermarket as they just collapse them to bin them. The banana boxes were particularly good for curtains as the boxes are large and strong.
