I'm thinking of moving from BOI to AIB. I have been a a customer of BOI for 16 years and for one reason or another (No financial disasters or anything like that!) I want to move to AIB. The only thing I'm worried about is that I intend in purchasing a house in 18 months to 2 years and am afraid I may not have enough of a credit history with AIB in order to be granted a mortgage. Do the banks share credit history and hence may this fear be unfounded ?
