moving back to ireland: Cost of living around Galway for a standard family?

Please I would like to know if somebody can tell me how much the cost of living would be around Galway for a standard family?

We have been out from Ireland for years, currently living in Uruguay, and planning to go back....how bad is bad?

How many kids , if any, do you have? What ages are they? What sort of schools do you want to put them into?

Where do you want to live? Will you be renting? Do you have a job lined up?

Are you originally from Galway? If not, you should know that when it's not raining here, it just means that it's going to rain soon.
