I've had the same accountant from day 1 many years ago.
He is retiring soon and has someone lined up to take over. I have a business conflict of interest with the person taking over so I'll respectfully move on.
Just wondering, is there a lot involved in moving accountant's or is it a relatively simple process?
I moved accountant several years ago as previous one was concentrating on tax refunds - simple process. Original accountant hand files over to new accountant. In many cases they will have the software. You will sign a letter or two.
