Yes and the pin does not workThe PIN never changes. Do you have a copy of a previous email with the PIN in it?
I have had the car the last 10 years it’s just a renewelIf the car was bought new then it is the last six digits of the VIN number, however if the car was second hand it's the last six digits of the Registration Cert, which is the number on the top right on the first page of the cert

I got a motor tax reminder during Dec and it included a pin. Have you looked in spam ?Perhaps it's flagging something to do with it being due an NCT annually from now on?
There is no change of ownership involved here. The PIN will be the same as before.The pin changes when there is a name change on the vehicle reg cert (change of ownership)
