Motor Insurance for an 24 y/o male

Hi all,
Just got my motor insurance renewal quote from Quinn Direct and it came in at 2200euro for an 04 1.4 Megane. Needless to say I was shocked... My car was burned out last august and i claimed through my insurance and this is the reason that Quinn Direct gave for the huge renewal quote. I am a 24 year old male driver who had 1 year no claims bonus before I made my claim last Aug. Just wondering can anyone recommend any insurance companies that give good rates. I rang AXA and Hibernian and got cheaper quotes ( just under 1700) but would love to see could anyone recommend any other companies as money is a bit tight at the minute. Thanks in advance,

Will the fact that you made a claim restrict you from moving insurance companies at all?
