Motor Insurance: 3rd party or comp?

Motor insurance is up for renewal. Looking at carzone.ie, car is worth approx €2500, so i guess it would go for say €2000/2250 max if i was to sale it. Also, insurance would certainly value the car for less, say €1500/€1750.

Third party only €230
Third party , Fire & Theft €330
Comprehensive €410

Is it still really worth it to get a full comprehensive policy?

Can you afford to pay the €2500 for a new car if you write off this one ?
