I have recently moved to Ireland and would like to buy an apartment for ~160-200k.
Full time job, no probation but work only for 2 month as of now.
Yearly income 100k.
Current savings 70k.
Is there a chance of getting mortgage at any of the banks?
Or perhaps I would have better chances with credit union? My local union (Croi Laighean) offers mortgage at 5.12% APR which OK for me.
Don't want to ruin credit history with denied loan but need one as soon as possible.

Why do you need one as soon as possible?

It might make more sense to see how your job and your location suits you.

Credit Unions are very expensive to borrow from, but if they are the only lender, then you would just have to put up with it until you could switch.

You should contact a mortgage broker to prepare your case for you.

AFAIK, most mortgage providers look for payslips for at least three months and some look for six months.
