i've just heard Bank of ireland are selling ICS, what does this mean for people with a mortgage with ICS?

We're in the same situation as well. Just sent a letter on Tuesday to them to fix our mortgage. Has anyone heard anything else about this?

The sale still has to be signed off by the EU and they have until 2014 to make the sale-customers won't be affected. Your mortgage will justbe taken over by whoever buys ICS and termsand conditions won't change!

It's not definite yet, it's Bank of Ireland providing an update on the discussions it is having with the EU regarding restructuring. A definite decision will not be made until mid 2010. There is a conference call at 930am so further information will be released then.

Presumably nothing will change as regards current mortgages, they will be sold on under the current terms and conditions if this happens.
