Mortgage TRS query

Hi,

I've checked the revenue site and can't find an answer to my question.

I currently have a apartment which we bought in 2006, we are receiving mortgage interest relief (TRS) on this property at the moment and up until 2017, I understand we will no longer be eligible for this if we rent out the apartment.

Is it possible to move the TRS from our existing mortgage to the one we take out on the new property, or is TRS bound to a mortgage
