So 7 years ago me and kids father split up and I was intimidated into signing separation deeds waiving my rights to family home for a small sum. Still regret it as myself and the kids have had to move numerous times.
Anyway 7 years later he is looking to transfer my name to his new wife's.
Does this need to be done via solicitor and have I still been liable for anything for the last few years. From what I have read in the deeds, it needs to be his sole name. Do I have any claim as it has taken so long?

Hi Bentley

This is very vague.

Presumably you had a solicitor at the time of your separation?

You need a solicitor now to advise you. While you might get a steer on Askaboutmoney, it is not a substitute for professional legal advice.
