Mortgage Relief- Online Application

Hi,

Just wondering has anyone used the online application system. Does it take as long as a paper submission to the tax office?
 
It was suppose to be quicker but here am I still waiting since October. What I was told when I rang in December was that my details were wrong.
 
i did mine online the 1st week in november and haven't heard a dickie from them yet. must chase it up soon
 
If you send in a paper submission it takes 8 weeks. I would have thought doing it online you def would have your relief applied by now.

If it is sorted only a few days after a monthly payment is made then relief will not come through until the following month which can add nearly four weeks onto the wait
 
I did it online on the 11th December. Had the tax relief applied by the time our next payment was due on Jan 7th.
 
I applied online about 5th January and got a letter from my mortgage provider on 22nd January. Although the TRS credit has not yet been applied to my account.
