mortgage relief cheques !

Any help appreciated , chq i get from social welfare for the above is made out to my mortgage provider c/o myself , was able to cash in in local post office till now and lodge the cash into my bank cause i pay mortgage by dd , now they wont cash it ,say it has to go straight into mortgage account , any way around this ? can i lodge it into my personal bank account ? lost here altogether , thanks in advance L

thanks , did that but what i really need is to cash it as it helps towards other bills also ,he offered to pay it directly off mortgage which i dont want , pay by dd a week before chq comes ,any more advice on how to get ot cashed appreciated very much , L
