Mortgage rates

HI,

I've just been given a mortgage proposal from IIB, but they are only offering Variable rates. Is this normal for affordable mortgages, or does anyone know if any of the banks are offering fixed??

i went through a broker with IIB and got 3 years fixed

I'm going through a broker with IIB, and they're only offering variable??.....oh my heads melted....I knew he was lying to me!!!

anyone i have spoken got a better rate with them - plus they do all the paper work for you

Im going through a broker, and haven and ebs are offering 3 or 5 years fixed, there not doing 1 or 2 years fixed anymore, I would recommend going through a broker because they get you the best rates and as above do all the paper work for you

IIB are only offering standard variables depending on the amount, only found this out friday. shop around
