Mortgage protection, moved overseas

Hi,

I have a mortgage and mortgage protection through Irish Life. I moved overseas a couple of years ago. Does anyone know if this invalidates the mortgage protection policy? From my reading, so long as the policy was executed in Ireland it remains valid.
