Mortgage protection claim but then get a job

Hi,
I will be made redundant soon and will more than likely be gettting a temp job in another place the monday after the friday I leave. How will this affect any mortgage protection claim. Will it null and void the claim as I will have got a new job and my contract will then just end or will i be entitled to it after the temp contect ends. The temp contract pay is 1/2 current pay.

The mortgage paid for the year would be worth more than what id get in pay for the 2 months temp work (taking into accoun the sw). I would really appreciate any input on this.
 
Double-check with your insurer as terms and conditions vary from one to another. But my understanding would be that you'd get no redundancy claim from a Mortgage Repayment Protection plan as you'll be coming to the end of a contract as distinct from being made redundant, even though that's what's happening to you now.
