I was late once or twice with paying my mortgage
due to wages going in too late.A year later i requested a
statement as i was looking to re-mortgage.I then seen that
where i was late with payment they didn't deduct the amount off my total. With Disloyalty debt beside it.
Am i being conned ? As i have lodged money but
nothing has been debited, anyone come across this before
as it might be that you won't notice it till you see your statement?

cheers Fran:confused:

What do the terms & conditions of your loan agreement say about how late payments will be dealt with? Who is the lender? What exactly did your statement say?

I'd have to find original terms, lender is First Active.Would this be normal practice for lenders to keep all monies if late on top of charging admin fees?Seems a bit exceesive!
I'll go hunting for the terms now.

cheers Fran

Yeah - sounds odd. Are you sure that you're interpreting your statement correctly? Have you queried the issue with FA? What sort of mortgage is it - home or investment, fixed or variable/tracker, etc.?
