Mortgage Intrest Supplement

Hi, I was made redundant 2 weeks ago after 17 years working full time. I have applied to CWO for MIS and she gave me 2 forms to fill out, one is for the bank to fill out on my behalf stating terms of mortgage, evidence I could afford the mortgage to start with ect.

Does anyone know if the bank posts these details back to me or to the CWO? I imagine its a real pain for the bank staff to go thru a file thats 5 years old and Im thinking stuff like this is not really urgent to them tho I guess if it means they get their mortgage payment next month maybe they will pull their fingers out n get all the details back asap!

Has anyone gone thru this process and how long did it take from when they first got the forms to actually getting some much needed cash?

If its a case the bank will send all the paperwork direct to the CWO should I send my own form back now while the bank gets their bit done so there are no delays in getting the process started?

Many Thanks

Did you not ask the CWO what was the normal position on this?
I know all the banks probably differ. I would ring the bank and ask them or if you are near your branch call in and discuss it.

I didnt ask the CWO cos I didnt read the form until I got home .. only then did I realise how much info they were looking for and not just a case of stamping a form and filling in a few details...
I will be going to the bank tomm so will ask them then.... tnx a mill

The bank should return the form to you and you bring it to the CWO, along with the application form which you complete yourself.

Waiting times on claim decisions vary from area to area.
