Mortgage interest relief to be increase??

It was also expected that relief on existing mortgages, for those who bought during the boom period from 2004 to 2008 would be increased to 30%.






Does anyone got more news about this??
 
It was a pre-election plan, but wont come into effect till 2012, thats if it is scrapped completely.
Stupid idea really, why give money to a blanket group of people, when many in that group have no problems paying their mortgage. I think they should revise it and help people who are genuinely struggling.
