mortgage interest relief and rent

Hi all,
My husband and I rented out our house last year because I got a better job in a different county and we had to move.We're now renting a house.We're getting mortgage interest relief at source alright but are we entitled to rent relief on the house we are now renting?

You should not be claiming Mortgage TRS on a property that is not your principal private residence. You should notify Revenue immediately that you have been receiving Mortgage TRS on a property which is not your principal private residence or face penalties when they catch up with you.
