Hi folks,

I am a spanish guy living in Ireland and I am on the way to buy an apartment in Krakow.

Being quite new on the purchasing world, I would like to ask if someone can tell me what Polish banks offer a mortgage to foreigners and which one seems to have the best offer.

Also, I would be interested in knowing if there is any independent mortgage advisor I could contact to help me out with all documentation required.

Many thanks for your help

Regards

If you bank in Ireland with AIB you should try BZ WBK bank in Poland. They are a subsidary of AIB. Your application should be approved much faster and easily then other Polish banks. Most of their staff are fluent in English and you can also get online banking in English with them.

Deutsche Bank as well as Fortis bank also do mortgages to non-residents. We took a mortgage with the AIB subsidiary recently (it was the second dearest of the 3 - Deutsche was cheapest) because it was more flexible.

Cheers

Brian
