Mortgage for Irish Expats

Hi All,

I need some guidance about the best possible options of getting a mortgage in Ireland. What is the maximum mortgage banks are giving these days? Also is it possible to get a mortgage in Ireland for Irish expats living and working abroad?

Thanks Leo, I edited the thread. I am reading some of the posts but thought someone would guide me to them or respond to the questions. Appreciate the help as I have no experience in this area.

See this on the ex-pat challenge. The maximum mortgage available to borrowers here is dictated by the Central Bank rules, though some exemptions are available.
