If I am going for my mortgage how much can expect to pay in solicitors fees etc. It is a selfbuild

As per your previous posts you are looking to borrow €200,000. Under the REA homebuyer package we would charge a fee, payable on the first drawdown, of €1995 + VAT (€2413.95). This covers our service to advise on and arrange the mortgage and associated insurances (mortgage protection and buildings insurance), the professional fees of a REA panel solicitor to handle the conveyancing and a FULL refund of the commission paid to REA by the lender. With the exception of Bank of Scotland who pay 0.9% all the lenders we use pay 1% so your refund would be €2000 hence a net cost of €413.95. Please note the fee does not cover Land Registry fees and other outlays for which you should budget around €800 nor does it cover the initial mortgage valuation (€96) or the final inspection fee (€76). As the mortgage will be drawn in stages the commission would also be refunded within 90 days of each payment.
