Mortgage Direct Debit Date

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone could advise on this. Our Mortgage is with H*ven mortgages and is taken from the acc on the 7th of every month by DD. Is there anyway to have this date changed? Ideally to have it come out on the 30th of every month would be great.

Also if the date can't be changed could a standing order be set up instead for a particular date?

Many lenders offer some flexibility in this regard. Have you asked Haven themselves?

I called them and they advised that they call for the dd on the 1st of the month but it never comes out until the 7th - Im not sure why theres such a delay - I spoke with the bank and they advised that mortgage company should be able to change the day they send the request?

Im at a loss really
