Mortgage charge

I have recently applied to change from a variable rate to a fixed rate mortgage and have been charged 125 euro to do this. Is this right. On application I was not informed there would be a charge, can anyone help please

What fixed rate have you been offered Beanis? With ECB rates to fall further it might not be wise to go fixed at the moment.

I am sure they have that fee buried in the terms and conditions of your mortgage. If its not there you may have cause to chase your €125.

As per other post, I believe he went from 6.1 variable to 4.5 fixed
