Mortgage as a part time employee 50k per year?

Hi there, I currently work 3 days per week as a permanent part time employee, my salary is approx 50k - I have been told banks wont be interested due to my part time status - anybody know or experienced this ??

Bank will be interested if your salary of €50K is enough to service the mortgage. The part-time part wont be an issue

Hi,

Banks would not be concered that you are working on a partime basis, just the income to have to service the loan,

Agree with the others - as long as you are permanently employed and have completed any probationary period lenders wouldn't be concerned that you are part time.

€50,000 will qualify you for a mortgage of up to €220k as a 100% or €260k as 92% - this assumes a 2 + bed property, no loans and that a 35 year mortgage won't take you past your 70th birthday.
