Mortgage And Renting.

Hi,
I lived in county westmeath in my own home. Im moving to Dublin west near to my job, I will be renting in Dublin and my own home in county west meath i will try to give for rent.

My question is what will happen if give my house for rent will i lose my TRS and is it possible to put my own home on intrest base only?

For me it hard to afford both rent and mortgage. If i want to sell my House it is in negative equity so please advise me some easy and quick FIX.

My understanding is, yes you will as it will not now be your PPR.

Talk to your bank in connection with this.

You will probably also be liable for the €200 property tax levy, which is on all non PPR properties.
