Mortgage Advisors??

Hi

I am in the process of applying for a mortgage but find the people I deal with are a bit, well, crap - I think they get put off cause I'm relatively young and earning really good money - would anyone reccommend any decent people they've dealt with - younger the better - sorry un PC I know

where are you based ? Your broker should not be put of by the fact that you are young...very unfair

Why not just shop around directly with the various lenders if you can't find a decent broker/intermediary?

I remember getting a funny reception from some lenders years ago when I turned up inquiring about a mortgage.

I've dealt with REA mortgages ( the merrion st office) and found them to be excellent. They are extremely willing to deal with email/phone queries which was v. important to me as I didn't want to be chasing up someone or having to take lots of time from work. I would highly recommend them from my own personal experience as they have assisted with every step of the way above and beyond what I expected and turnaround has been extremely fast.

Just remember some brokers don't deal with all the banks (usually NIB) so make sure to get a quote from them directly yourself before making a final decision.

I use Simply Mortgages and they've been very helpful! www.simplymortgages.ie. They are all quite young in there!
